What we are
Shri Kishandas Kikani Arts & Commerce College, Dhandhuka (also known as K K College) managed by Dhandhuka Taluka Kelavani Mandal has been actively providing higher education to the students of Dhandhuka and surrounding villages since 1964. In 2014, the college is completed 50 years.
Students at K K College can offer Accountancy or Statistics as main subject in Commerce faculty, and Gujarati or Economics in Arts faculty. Students of Dhandhuka and surrounding region get admission on the basis of minimum 36% marks in XIIth Standard Examination. Highly talented lecturers teach, help and guide the students in achieving their goal of higher education. Strict discipline is maintained during lectures, and even stricter discipline is maintained during internal and university examinations.
Many of our students have been achieving rank among the top 50 students of Gujarat University Results.
The college is well equipped with a computer lab, digital education & learning lab and a rich library as well as wi fi system. The college has a large playground, and the most notable among all these is the newly constructed Sports Hall with 24m width and36m length.
As for sports activities, our college students have been participating in competitions organized at various levels like college, state, university and at national level. The most remarkable performance of our students has been in Weight Lifting and Power Lifting. Our college has achieved championship in these two competitions for the last seven years.
Extra-curricular activities are equally important for the overall development of students. Our students zealously participate in activities like NSS camp, Blood Donation camp, Tree Plantations, etc. Special lectures on topics like Global Warming, Health Awareness, Law, Life Insurance, and Competitive Examinations are organized at college from time to time. Lectures on domestic violence and legal advice are arranged especially for Girl students. Various competitions like Rangoli, Mehandi, Class Decoration, sports are organized for Girl Students every year under CWDC.
Anti Ragging Committee:
Though no ragging incident has taken place in the history of our college, we do have an anti ragging committee. The committee is comprised of three members, namely Principal G R Parmar, Senior Professors Mr B C Shah and Ms N F Merchant.
